Migrating an OpenEdge database to an MSS data source

You can migrate an OpenEdge database to an MSS data source.

To set up and use the DataServer:

Install the DataServer components on the machines that your configuration requires.
If you chose not to use the bundled ODBC driver, purchase and install the ODBC driver software on the machine that will execute the server component.
Verify connectivity between ODBC and the MSS database.
Run the Progress-to-MSS migration utility.
